Peace Corps Prep

The University of Tennessee has partnered with the United States Peace Corps to offer UT students a certificate from the Peace Corps Prep Program (PC Prep). PC Prep will enhance student’s undergraduate experience by preparing them for international development fieldwork and potential Peace Corps service.

PC Prep students work with the UT PC Prep Coordinator to map out how they can develop four core competencies—sector-specific technical skills, foreign language proficiency, intercultural competence, and professional savvy and leadership. The competencies students develop during the program give them a competitive edge when applying for Peace Corps service.

PC Prep is open to all majors and will prepare participants to be globally engaged at home and abroad. PC Prep will enhance your UT undergraduate experience by linking you to like-minded students, Knoxville-Based Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and service organizations throughout our community.
